X-rays help to diagnose dental problems that are unable to be seen normally.

Scaling and Root Planning

Periodontal Disease, more commonly known as gum disease affects many adults. Scaling and Root Planning is the most widely used method to treat this disease. Scaling and Root Planning is the process used to remove tartar and plaque build up from the teeth.

Tooth Fillings

This is the process for repairing cavities in the teeth. Our dentists use different type of fillings including, tooth-colored fillings, porcelain filling and amalgam.

The following videos are examples of the process and the types of fillings Pearl Dental provides.

Teeth Whitening

Over time teeth become discolored due to bacteria, food, tobacco, and simply due to age. Maintaining a beautiful white smile is something Pearl Dental can help provide. We offer several whitening procedures, ask your dentist which one is right for you.

Dental Veneers

Repair your smile with Porcelain Veneers. They are stronger than enamel and are able to resist staining better as well. Our dentists can help match the veneers to your natural teeth color as well. Veneers are a great way to repair your smile due to damaged teeth.

The following video shows how Porcelain Veneers can help improve your smile.

Dental Bonding

Repair damaged, chipped, discolored teeth through Dental Bonding. Through this process a tooth-colored material bonded to the tooth. It can be used to provide a cosmetic solution to gaps in teeth, and even adjusting a tooth’s shape.

Please see the following video for more information on Dental Bonding.

Cosmetic Contouring and Reshaping of Tooth

This procedure is used to repair damaged teeth. It can also be used to fix cosmetic needs such as overlapping teeth. It can also be used to correct minor changes and may fix problems without the need of braces.

Dental Sealants

Plastic resin is bonded to the grooves on a tooth’s chewing surface. This helps protect the tooth and helps prevent cavities forming on the tooth. Sealants make it easier to clean the tooth and prevent plaque buildup.

Root Canal

Root canals save severely decayed or infected teeth through cleaning out the pulp chamber, removing the nerve tissue and bacteria, and then filling it in and sealing the tooth. Root canals can help prevent many problems relating to an abscessed tooth, including swelling and infections.

Dental Bridges

Bridges replace gaps from missing teeth. A bridge is made up of crowns anchored to your actual teeth to fill in gaps and spaces from missing teeth. They not only serve a cosmetic need but also can help you properly chew and speak, and helping to keep your remaining teeth in proper position.

The following video shows how a bridge can help prevent additional dental problems and replace missing teeth.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are used to replace missing teeth. They are stronger than bridges and dentures and offer a permanent solution to missing teeth. They help cosmetically, make it easier to eat, and are extremely durable. Ask Pearl Dental if implants are right for you.

Please view the video to see how you can benefit from Dental Implants.
